What items should I include in a Christmas Village?

I am getting a Christmas Village for my Mom this Christmas. I need some help on what items to include in it

These are the things I already have-

-Dog walker

-Sleigh ride

-Girl feeding apples to a reindeer

-Santa

-2 snow-covered trees

-3 snow-covered bushes

What I am going to get-

-Church

-3 houses

-fake snow stuff

-5 snow-covered trees

-7 snow-covered bushes

-people(figurines)

-shops/restraunts

-attractions(like ice skating)

-scenes(like i put above, the dog walker, the girl feeding apples to the reindeer...)

Am I missing anything? What would make it better?

  1. Go check out the stores that have them,,I have a big one and I keep it up Dec. til march.

I use a mirror and I put glue on it and while it was wet I scratched in a figure eight, It dried and looks like real ice because of the frosty look not the clear reflection. I than put on some ice skaters..

    I have about 20 houses now .

a school, a library, a backery, a bank, a church, reg homes ...they all have the little windows in them that light up...

All kind of added things..Including little lit fake trees ..kids sleighriding, a small path that looks like a brick pavement, I bought it and cut it to fit where I want to put pavements..some light posts that light up ...

THere are all kind of fun things to add,,,go see at most department stores..

Don't forget to get one of those extensions to put all the plugs in for the houses to light up...and I use it on a timer so I don't have to plug and unplug it in everynight .

She will love it!! you will too!! HAVE FUN

It is sort of like playing house..
  2. Train and Train Station!!
