which days in christmas holiday are safe for travelling on the roads?

- Realistically, it doesn't matter much. The roads may be more crowded on the 22nd and the 26th, but you probably won't notice much of a difference. Just keep an eye on the forecast.
On Dec. 31, we call it "amateur night" because some people will be out who don't know how to have fun. So be a little careful.
