13 year old boy wanting to lose weight over Christmas break?

This year I want to give myself the gift of weight loss. I go on break for 17 days after Wednesday. I want to lose enough weight that I will be able to tell the difference. Can you recomend some eating tips or diets along with some exercising tips.
How much weight could I possibly lose?

  1. If you want to go through some extreme workouts, you probably can lose 20lbs.



    During one of the vacations, for about 3 weeks, I ran 6 - 7 miles every morning, swam 2 hours every afternoon, cycing 20 miles every night, I didn't even control my diet, in fact ate as much as I could, but I lost 20lbs.



    I guess I was burning far too much than what I ate.



    Of course you can choose not to go that extreme end. What I wanted to tell you is, the best way to lose weight is through cardio exercises, diet is secondary.



    Should you want to make it more efficient, switch to a full vegetarian diet, and replace all tit-bits, junk food with fruits. This will reduce the intake of fats which is very high in calories.
