Trip to Disney World after Christmas and need help finding deals?

Hello everyone I am planning a trip to Disney with my family of 5 after Christmas and I am having trouble finding deals on Disney tickets for 4 days any ideas? I was told to just wait until we get to Florida to purchase the tickets because they have booths that sell tickets for cheap because people can't use them. Any ideas?

  1. You can sign for Deals and Steals on http://www.travelbizonthenet.com for specials on travel, tickets for events, flights, cruises everything related to travel.

Regarding your question about the tickets booth, yes you save some but then you have to go to a time-share presentation that should take 90 min and takes 90 hours.
  2. Stay at a Value Disney Resort and that will give you the best deal. They are great. My favorite is Sports, Music or Movies. I didn't like Pop Culture. The food is great. You get into a park an hour early every day. You can purchase a few extra hours in the evening for $12 more for the best rides. You can purchase a souvenier cup for $10-12 and refill it for free for your entire stay. If you are flying, Disney has a shuttle from the Orlando airport at no charge.

They usually have super packages on their website. You can even book it with a meal plan.

I have stayed off site in the past and would never do it again.

  4. My recommendation is to purchase tickets to the parks this year if possible. AAA is the only place that is guaranteed with Disney to offer discount on tickets. The reason I suggest purchasing this year is that tickets don't expire and they do go up in price yearly. When I worked at the Disney Reservation Center, I lost count of the number of crying guests who purchased useless tickets from those booths. Disney will not honor tickets not purchased from them or from AAA.
  5. When you come to Orlando, you will find lots of booths that sell Tickets, however I don't really recommend it. Specially if its a USED ticket. A lot of these Booths buy-back the tickets from customers who don't use all the days. Problem with this is that Disney is extremely careful about that and do not tolerate it at all.

I have seen guests that have not purchased tickets directly through an authorized retailer or Disney itself, but instead through one of these "booths", and when they get to the park, they have gotten stopped by security at the gate, literally Interrogated to find out where they got it from, and confiscate it without you ever getting into the park. Many of them come back FURIOUS back to these "booths" to ask for their money back and a lot of times they will not be refunded.

There are also other ways to purchase "cheap" tickets, which is by attending a Timeshare Tour. I highly don't recommend this beacuse of the fact that its taking away from your vacation. They advertise it as a 90-minute presentation, which it is. However then comes the Sale, in which you will have the agent and its supervisor try to consistently persuade you into buying a Timeshare. I myself did this once a long time ago. I got to the presentation around 8am and didn't get out until past 12pm. By the time I got to the park I only got to enjoy half the day. I myself would never do that ever again.

If you are interested, we are an authorized Travel Proffessional for Disney, plus we are a Tour Operator here in Orlando. We can definitely assist you in helping you plan a great affordable vacation that you would most certainly enjoy.
