ceramic Christmas village?
Any suggestions as to how to pack it away after the holidays? Putting them back in their original boxes takes up so much space. What do you do with yours?

- I wrap mine up in the fake snow (also used to display them) in a giant Rubbermaid tub - I keep them in the basement, so the container is waterproof and the fake snow cushions them in case they get jostled.
- buy a thick piece of styrofoam and use an exacto-knife to cut a rough hole out in the shape of each piece and place them in the foam. then in a box.
good luck.
- I always put mine back in the originial box. The houses themselves are so big i'd be afraid to not keep them as protected as they were originally.
- If you don't want to use the boxes (the safest way to pack them), carefully wrap them in bubble wrap and pack snugly away in a storage container.
- wrap each piece in:
first: tissue paper
second: wrapping paper, save the Christmas wrappings or buy
clean moving paper
third: bubble wrap
Put crumpled wrapping paper in the base of a sturdy box. Then lay in your pieces.
