What are some fun things to do in Santa Cruz?
So far I've been to Capitola Village, the Boardwalk, exploring the coffee shops, the bike church, garlic festival, any other recommendations? I'm actually thinking of things I can do with my wife when she moves up here so she won't miss home (LA) too much. Yes, people who grow up in LA mis LA (like me!).
Public Comments
- Go down to Soquel for a stroll. It's a nice town. Go up north on Hwy 9 a short distance and hike in the forest. Visit the Surfing Museum at the SC Lighthouse. Go up the coast a few miles and visit a couple of the other lighthouses. Go down Hwy 101 a few miles and hike in Pinnacles National Monument.

Hiking Cowell in Scotts Valley, then lunch at Bruno's (BBQ).
Morning sand volleyball in front of the Crow's Nest at the harbor.
Moe's Alley for great blues (especially if Robben Ford is there).
Marianne's, of course.
Ocean kayaking, harbor or down at Moss Landing.
